Band Performs at ACS Relay-For-Life of North Naperville
June 24, 2005

Suburban Folk performed for event participants on this hot and sticky Friday evening in June. In addition to contributing their performance, the band raised $4,200 in donations for the American Cancer Society, and was included as part of the team "ECI HUSTLES #2" from Edwards Heart Hospital in Naperville.  more »
Fundraiser Benefits Cancer Research

Hundreds of people bought raffle tickets and came out to dance and have a good time at the First Annual Suburban Folk American Cancer Society Fundraiser. The band coordinated the event and raised over $4,200 thanks to prizes donated by local businesses. The event was held at Hot Shots Sports Bar in Warrenville. more »
New Bandmember DAVE BRIGGS Added to Roster

Local guitarist and singer Dave Briggs has joined forces to become the newest Suburban Folk member. Dave has been playing guitar for the past thirty years. He studied voice at the Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago under the direction of Maria D’Albert and has written dozens of songs. In 1995, Dave's pop ballad "Try Honesty" was published in Nashville. The band is thrilled and welcomes Dave aboard!
The Louisville Connection

Longtime bandmember Tom Roller and his family have recently relocated from their native state of Illinois to a new home in Louisville Kentucky. Tom's friendship, smooth vocals and precise guitar work will surely be missed but not forgotten. Tom will continue to appear with Suburban Folk as a guest performer at selected shows in the future.
Suburban Folk Debut Concert Success

Suburban Folk performed their debut concert under the stars Saturday night in Naperville and received rave reviews. The band is grateful to their audience and encouraged to move forward with their plans for 2005.
New Suburban Folk Debut Scheduled for September 2004

The acoustic pop-rock vocal group Suburban Folk has announced their plans to transform out of an exclusively acoustic format and into a full band. They are adding new members and will make their official debut at the end of September 2004.
