Music
has always been a significant part
of Sue's life.
She recalls the
time she was young and would wake
up to the sound of her father
playing John Denver records at
high volume on his hi-fi. And the
feeling of both fear and
excitement at the first live
performance she did with Brian and
his first band in the 70's.
And more recently
sitting in an audience with a
proud twinkle in her eye while
listening to her daughter sing her
first solo. |
Sue believes that when
a person is performing, or just
listening or even screaming along
with the radio, music has a
certain way of wrapping itself
around you.
The demands on her time of raising
and family, and other domestic
suburbanite activities, have made
it more challenging for her to
continue performing. But with the
birth of Suburban Folk, an irresistible
opportunity presented itself for
her to once again show her stuff.
